Job Description

The role will focus on the following areas:

Business Performance 

• Provide high quality operational MI into the business & group, that support performance management & delivery of business priorities.
• Partner mid-term planning/forecasting process, monthly reporting, quarterly re-forecasting for your businesses and integrate effectively with the shared service teams
• Collaborate with the central finance team to deliver best in class reporting, forecasting and insightful analysis
• Joint owner of the quality and maintenance of the ARR for the supported division. Ensuring these are maintained and changes are reflected in a timely manner.
• Develop financial models and challenge assumptions behind the commercial propositions and show entrepreneurial ability to optimise the outcomes.
• Be the point of contact and support on key financial information supporting bids

Financial 

• Proactively work with credit control and the business to manage aged debt and cashflow
• Financially analyse investment cases and scenario based outcomes
• Drive and be jointly responsible for the quality and accuracy of the ARR.

Functional Stream 

• Partner with allocated functional stream to deliver best in class process, reporting and commercial challenge across the group
• Collaborate with the functional reporting leads to deliver best in class reporting, forecasting and insightful analysis
• Reporting for; Divisional and QBR Board, Business Performance, Audit reporting assistance

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Qualified Accountant Strong people management skills with an ability to motivate a team, setting and executing against challenging goals in order to drive continual improvement Strong analytical skills; quantitative or financial techniques with keen approach to problem-solving Solid background in financial planning, budgeting and financial modelling Working within Finance or alongside functional operations an advantage.
