Job Description

The position covers a wide breadth of accounting focused responsibilities with a strong element of business partnering with the operational and asset management team. The role reports into the Head of business performance and entails the following responsibilities:

Produce and maintain accurate and complete sets of accounts relating to a portfolio of companies including UK assets in construction. Full autonomy of producing and managing accounts relating to a portfolio of UK companies owned and managed by the business. Responsibilities include working with Construction, Structured Finance and Asset Management teams to maintain the current budget, debt draw downs, transaction processing, internal reporting, and accounting.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The ideal person will be a qualified accountant with strong management / project accounting experience. An exposure to working within a renewables, energy or construction business would be highly desirable. The final pre-requisite is someone who is confident to work independently and partners with the operational business.
