The successful candidate will possess strong intellect and demonstrable experience of working within successful turnaround scenarios. The ability to positively contribute to the business strategically transcending the finance function is also critically important.
Finance Director responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Implementing and streamlining financial processes
Improving the existing cash flow management processes and ensuring that reforecast plans are realised
Implementing a new budget modelling tool
Transforming current cash based models into accrued revenue reporting models.
Enhancing dashboards and Board reports from last year their ‘Board of Report’
Introducing new measures across both cost analysis and budget control
Leading a small finance team
Working as a key advisor to the Senior Leadership Team
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
This ideal candidate will be genuinely seeking a part time opportunity and ready to apply their expertise within a challenging, fast paced business. You will be a fully qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) Finance Director with an abundance of process improvement experience - additionally, any previous rental/property negotiation or membership organisation experience would be extremely advantageous. In terms of interpersonal characteristics, the new Finance Director will be a positive team player who is brave, accountable and direct albeit with a sense of humility.
