Job Description

As Salesforce Administrator you will be part of a growing team helping to finalize the development and implementation of Salesforce within the business, delivering new and enhanced functionality through the platform within Sales, Service and Marketing Clouds.

Based at our UK Head Office in Castleford, West Yorkshire (working fully remotely initially), you’ll join a busy and dynamic team at the heart of the world’s largest family owned and run pet product business.

  • Play a key part in developing CRM solutions by formulating objectives; planning project life-cycle deliverables, resource availability and application; preparing installation and modification specifications and leading the exploration, evaluation & design of technical solutions.
  • Provide training, support, and guidance throughout the business, contributing to building capabilities to meet the requirements of the business, making Salesforce useable at all levels.
  • Implement CRM solutions by monitoring project progress; tracking action items; conducting design and implementation reviews; examining, researching, and resolving issues; escalating issues to appropriate authority; responding to team members' concerns and coordinating requirements with interested departments.
  • Work with our key stakeholders in the UK and global offices to share best practice and provide project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Assist internal teams with the development, monitoring and distribution of KPI’s and reporting for tracking and measurement
  • Support and troubleshoot Salesforce incidents, including integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems
  • Produce ongoing improvements in the Salesforce instance through continuous research of new Salesforce features & functionality

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Process Management – Good at figuring out the processes necessary to get things done; knows how to organize people and activities. Decision Quality – Makes good decisions based upon a mixture of analysis, experience and judgment. Customer Focus – Is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers. Operational Excellence – Continuously strives to meet financial and operational objectives. Ability to communicate complex solutions with technical & non-technical colleagues to support decision making. 3-5 years’ experience in designing & developing Salesforce components, with excellent understanding of Sales, Service and Marketing Cloud. Salesforce Administrator Certification (preferred). Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization. Ability to understand and connect other business platforms, (ERP, B2B, B2C). Skilled in Microsoft Office applications.
