Job Description

 This role can be appointed on either a full time or part time arrangement.
As an Accountant you will be responsible for preparing accounts and tax compliance for a range of sole traders, partnerships and small limited companies local to Northwich. Day to day duties will include preparing accounts from excel records and incomplete records to at least trial balance, preparing corporation tax computations and also preparing personal tax computations. You will be responsible for liaising with clients on a regular basis via phone and you will also have some clients walking in so you must be confident answering and fielding queries.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The firm are seeking an experienced general practitioner who can work autonomously. Ideally you will be AAT / ACA / ACCA qualified however they will also consider part qualified applications. You must have worked for at least 2 years within an accountancy practice previously and be confident liaising with clients on a regular basis as this will be a key part of your role. Prior exposure to Xero, Quickbooks or Receiptbank will be looked upon favourably.
