Job Description

This is an incredibly varied role, covering all aspects of finance. You'll be working for a subsidiary of a large, stable, growing, multifaceted business.
You will work with the Finance Manager to help provide accurate and timely reporting, and projects to meet the needs of a rapidly growing business.
You'll drive process efficiencies and controls, including the use of systems - you should be a whizz is Excel and systems generally, knowledge of Sox will be useful.
You'll need to be proactive in looking for continuous improvement for those processes, controls and systems and be happy to make recommendations as you see fit.
There'll be the more standard; month-end reporting, accruals, prepayments, journals, balance sheet reconciliations, along with budget work and forecasting.
There will be the opportunity to progress within the business.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The ideal candidate will be an actively studying part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA) accountant, or AAT qualified either from industry or practice who is looking for a long-term career move with an organisation that values and offers progression.
