The Accountant will be part-qualified inn either ACCA / ACA or CIMA or alternatively be a finance graduate.

The Finance department has grown to a major function that supports all areas of the business and you will get the opportunity to interact with all areas of the company. This opportunity would suit a proactive individual that is looking for a varied role.

Reporting to the Head of Accounting, the Group Accountant assist with preparation of monthly management accounts,  accruals and prepayments, as well as help to prepare the Annual Financial Statements for the Group.

You will reconcile nominal ledger and bank accounts and investigate issues in relation to the Purchase Ledger accounts on Sage Line 50.  You will have experience preparing tax files and also manage creditor balances.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Previous experience preparing management accounts - Solid experience preparing annual financial statements - Proven experience of overseeing the day to day Finances of a small to medium sized enterprise - Finance graduate or part-qualified with a professional accounting body (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)  - Experienced with Sage 50 is desirable - Experience of finance function with overseas subsidiaries is preferred
