Job Description

The successful candidate will therefore be joining at a very exciting time with plenty of scope for progression and development. As Senior Accountant, you will play an active role in the production of both financial statements and management accounts, whilst also overseeing the work of more junior members of staff. The role retains a technical element with involvement in VAT and Tax submissions giving the position great diversity.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Delivery of month end accounts with accompanying commentary
- Financial statement submissions as well as year end accounts filling
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Provide training and support to more junior members of the team

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful candidate will ideally be a finalist or newly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with prior experience gained in Accountancy practice highly desirable. Excellent communication skills will be key in the role and you will be confident dealing with a variety of queries both internally and externally. Any experience gained with cloud accounting systems would also be highly advantageous.
