Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated receptionist with bookkeeping experience. Applicants must have excellent telephone manner, enjoy dealing with customers and suppliers in a friendly, professional manner, and must have some bookkeeping experience. You will be responsible for dealing with existing and new clients on a day to day basis, as well as liaising with suppliers, and ensuring that day to day bookkeeping, such as invoices, is accurate and up to date .

Duties Include:

· Deal with suppliers/customers in professional and friendly manner

· Ensure invoices are raised promptly

· Maintain Sales/Purchases & Nominal Ledgers using SAGE software

· Make Bacs payments and Supplier payments

· Reconcile Bank, credit cards and petty cash

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Basic bookkeeping skills, with attention to detail · Excellent telephone manner · Enjoys dealing with customers both face to face and over the phone · Bookkeeping: 1 years (minimum) · Sage 50: 1 years · AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) / ICB Bookkeeping (Preferred) · Computer skills – essential packages: Word: Excel: Sage 50: · Good time management skills and the ability to priorities Experience: customer service: 2 years (Preferred) Education: A-Level or equivalent (Preferred)
