This role will work directly for an Independent Financial Planner who advises clients on Whole of the Market products. Providing direct administration support in a demanding environment, the role will be varied; fast paced and offer ongoing training and development. You will have the opportunity to work in a supportive team environment where progression is supported for CII qualifications if desired.
Responsibilities:
Preparing pre-meeting documentation for the Advisers
Processing new business applications
Creating Client Valuations & Illustrations
Chasing Letters of Authority
Liaising with Product Providers & third parties
File preparation for new clients and existing client reviews, including valuation reports (in line with MIFIID 2 legislation)
Keeping up to date with legislation and compliance changes
Administration tasks such as filing/scanning/faxing
Maintaining professional and ethical standards in accordance with regulatory principles for the business

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Candidates applying must have previous experience working for a firm of Financial Planners, and have a good knowledge of pension, investment and protection products. Ideally you will have had previous experience with Intelligent Office, and the standard Wrap Platforms. You will understand how the industry works, and be keen to develop your skills and progress within Financial Planning. Although it is not essential on application, you will be expected to obtain relevant industry qualifications in the role.
