Job Description

The post holder will be responsible for maintaining product information and content on the web site as well as updating the back-end system. This role will include data entry, liaising with suppliers and supporting other members of the team on various projects.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure that the specified product range is available for sale on the website and all data is accurate
  • Support planning for website product projects and update tasks on project plans
  • Maintain product information and content in the CMS system for website
  • Maintain product information and content in the backend system (Blindata – NAV under development)
  • Configure mapping layer for all products to back end systems
  • EDI testing with 3rd party suppliers for all new products
  • Daily import process, to ensure all orders are loading correctly
  • Build Information Pages and Sale Pages based on marketing team specifications
  • Responsible for ensuring all pricing information accurate and up to date on website
  • Track and maintain out of stock products and product lead times information on the website
  • Liaise with suppliers / production for out of stock and lead time information
  • Testing for website development and enhancements and internal IT projects
  • Support IT Manager with new report development
  • Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
A minimum of 2 years’ experience of working in data entry role within an online platform. 5 GCSE passes at Grade C or above to include English & Mathematics (or equivalent). Experience of content and data management for websites. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in Microsoft Navision. Experience of Kentico. Excellent planning & organizational skills. Ability to work to tight deadlines. Accurate with excellent attention to detail. Ability to work on own initiative without supervision. Ability to solve problems. Education: GCSE or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: working in data entry role within an online platform: 2 years (Preferred)
