Job Description

The Client Engagement Team is growing and hiring for two (2) Assistants. Reporting to the Manager – Client Engagement Team (Americas), the successful candidates will provide administrative support to the client engagement function in its entirety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake billing function and invoice production for multiple Cayman practice groups
  • Ensure client billing rules, discounts and negotiated terms are applied
  • Liaise internally to resolve billing related queries and escalate as necessary
  • Assist with the generation of supporting financial documents for invoices
  • Assist with conflict checking research where required
  • Assist with audit enquiries and data gathering exercises
  • Respond timely to incoming requests from lawyers and secretaries from all legal practice groups
  • Assist the Client Engagement Team in relation to the management of ongoing client data and ensuring dissemination of incoming information to appropriate departments
  • Assist with the production, review, modification and organization of documentation
  • Assist in new initiatives in order to streamline global internal processes
  • Assist the Client Engagement Team with routine operational tasks and data management tasks for Applications Managers as required.
  • Adhere to the policies and procedures of the Client Engagement Team

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
High School diploma with a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of ‘Aderant Expert’ and related billing functions would be advantageous. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel). Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships, both internally and externally at all levels.
