Job Description

You will report directly to the Finance Director, providing support to their business by managing daily accounting and financial tasks. You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Reconcile various bank accounts by compiling and balancing financial information
• Prepare and present regular reports about company finances including budgets, debts, deficits, expenditures, and revenue
• Issue and prepare invoices
• Identify and resolve financial discrepancies
• Prepare fixed asset depreciation and accruals
• Update and maintain general ledger accounts by keeping close track of accounts receivable details and control accounts
• Predict future revenue and expenses through a detailed analysis of current and past trends in costs, financial commitments, revenues, and trends
• Complete other adhoc accounting tasks as required
• Respect and understand SFAS rules

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

We are looking for candidates with 2 or more years’ experience as a Junior Accountant who have an excellent understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices. An MA in accounting or finance or Qualifications (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) are a big advantage. You must be proficient in Microsoft Packages and have expeirence working with Xero software.
