Job Description

? Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts- working with Group Accountants, Management Accountants and External Auditors
? Use CCH software to prepare subsidiary statutory financial statements
? Keeping the Group’s company database (approx. 500 companies) up to date
? Oversee submission process to Companies House Group financial statements (IFRS):
? Analysis of key areas of the Group accounts, including assisting with:
? IFRS 9 fair value of hedge accounting and equity investments
? IFRS 16 Lease accounting
? Impairment reviews of subsidiary investments/receivable balances, Goodwill & Intangibles
? IFRS 3 and acquisition accounting
? IAS 28 Investments in Associates and Joint Ventures
? Assist with integration of new consolidation software and completion of the Group Consolidation file
? Own the data gathering for key parts of the Annual Report
? Assist with preparation of Corporation Tax returns
? Use CCH software to assist with iXBRL tagging

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

? Right to work in the UK ? Part qualified ACCA or ACA ? Good knowledge of FRS102 and IFRS ? Strong organisational skills ? Highly motivated and able to meet deadlines ? Able to work independently but also enjoy working in a fast-paced, team environment
