Job Description

The role will have ownership of the day to day transactional finance, whilst learning Management Accounts and FP&A elements directly from the Head of Finance.

The role

Accounts Payable

• Processing purchase invoices
• Producing expense reports
• Responding to supplier queries in a timely manner
• Preparing supplier payment journals

Accounts Receivable / Credit Control

• Building relationships with customers and collecting payments due
• Full responsibility for credit control, escalating bad debts

Month end

• Assisting with weekly and monthly cashflow forecasting
• Balance sheet reconciliation and commentary for group reporting
• Preparing intercompany reports for group
• EC Sales reporting and submit to HMRC on time each month
• Intrastat reporting and submission to HMRC
• Quarterly VAT returns

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong academics, relevant degree in Accounting Actively studying ACCA/CIMA Familiar with accounting concepts Must have strong Excel Skills Pro active approach and eagerness to take ownership of duties Willingness to assist in other areas of the business
