We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated Payroll Administrator. If you're an ambitious individual who wants to build a career in Payroll, then we want to work with you. You will report to the firm's HR Officer in London and will play a pivotal role in running the day to day Payroll function. This role will suit someone with strong relevant experience, who has performed a similar function before preferably within the Financial Services sector.
A global Financial Technology Services group combining asset management, data analysis & artificial intelligence. The firm has offices in London, Europe, USA & India. This role will sit in the Central London headquarters but will initially be able to accommodate working from home given the current pandemic.
You will be the primary person responsible for the following task
Manage the monthly payroll operation and validation process in partnership with outsourced payroll vendor.
Work closely with HR Officer to monitor new starters, leavers, contract changes and termination payments.
Check and upload monthly pension contribution files where appropriate.
Monitor holiday balances throughout the year.
Deal with employee salary and payroll queries.
Investigate and resolve payroll queries.
Keep up to date with relevant regulations/legislation and determine the impact of any changes, taking action to implement changes where necessary.
Any other payroll duties as required by the business.
Keep and maintain payroll records on file.
Assist with reporting from payroll in line with HR and business requirements.
Process invoices where required.
Ensure Payroll processes are regularly kept up to date.
Work closely with HR Officer and CFO on topics related to compensation and benefit.
You will be able to demonstrate previous experience in managing the day-to-day functions of Payroll.
Someone with strong relevant experience, who has performed a similar function before within the Financial Services industry (e.g. Fin tech, Asset Management, Private Equity, Investment Management, banking etc.)
Experience working with international payroll; Germany & USA as a priority. Additionally, Asia & India would be a beneficial but not essential.
