The Finance team looks after personal and business interests of a high net worth individual.
Responsibilities include both personal & business accounting:
Monitoring and recording payments and receipts on all sterling and foreign currency bank accounts including investments administration
Preparing payments and inter-account transfers
Resolving day to day queries on payments
Preparing monthly bank reconciliations across number of banks & multiple currencies
Reconciling balance sheet nominal ledger accounts
Preparing VAT returns
Assisting with preparation of monthly & quarterly management reporting
Supporting in ad hoc projects
General filing & organising
Helping administer investments – Private Equities & Equities
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
At least AAT qualified or officially part qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA - this means you must have passed the appropriate number of exams to be part or fully qualified At least 2 years’ experience working within a finance department The ability to produce highly accurate work and a good attention to detail High level of numeracy Good communication and organisational skills The ability to work to a deadline Strong Microsoft and Excel skills Multicurrency, personal tax return & investment accounting experiences beneficial but not required
