Exciting Opportunity within a Multi-Award winning Accountancy Firm for a Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate will have a can do attitude and be enthusiastic about their career in Bookkeeping. This full time Opportunity is based in the heart of Manchester and is open to candidates with a range of experience from Junior through to qualified Bookkeeper.

Those with more experienced will undertake more senior responsibilities including your own portfolio and more complex clients. Ideally, you will be AATQB, ICB or IAB qualified.

Bookkeeper Position Overview

Preparing Tax returns

Sales & Purchase ledger processing

Preparation of VAT returns

Bank reconciliation

Dealing effectively with client queries.

Salary: Dependent on Experience

Working Hours: Flexible working (core hours)

Holiday: 20 + bank

Christmas shutdown

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

A minimum of 2 years' experience within Bookkeeping is essential, ideally within an accountancy practice. Strong IT and data entry skills are essential. Knowledge & previous experience of Xero and/or Sage is essential Strong communication skills and essential.
