Bookkeeper, Permanent Role, Newcastle City Centre
Client Details
Our client is a well established business in Newcastle and they pride themselves in supplying quality products to businesses in the local area
The bookkeeper will be responsible for;
Balancing and maintaining accurate ledgers
Matching purchase orders with invoices
Coordinating bank deposits and reporting financial results on a regular basis to management
Tallying and entering cash receipts
Developing monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements and balance sheets
Preparing quarterly and monthly tax returns, along with payroll, operating and business taxes
Daily usage of financial processes, enhancing and updating where needed
Maintaining accounts, verifying and posting transactions
Balancing accounts on a day-to-day or week-to-week basis
Managing client invoices & payments
Liaising with clients, suppliers and banking contacts
Working closely with accountants to prepare VAT returns
Preparing schedules, statements and reports as requested
Managing & filing relevant documentation
Profile
The successful candidate will have experience within a similar role and be able to start within a one week notice period.
Job Offer
A salary of up to £25,000 is on offer dpending on experience.
