Get Staff Recruitment are working closely with one of our clients just outside Central Southampton, who are actively recruiting for a Bookkeeper to join their team on an initial six month contract.
This is a fantastic chance for an experienced Accounts professional to build upon their existing experience, working for a company noted for their professionalism and dedication to their clients.
Duties to be performed will include:
Producing accurate monthly reports
Accurately posting and allocating all sales ledger receipts
Daily bank reconciliations
Checking all purchase invoices are correctly authorised and accurately entered onto Xero
Dealing with supplier queries and reconciling supplier statements
Assisting in the preparation of VAT returns
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Previous experience within an Accountancy Practice is preferred, and knowledge of the Xero system is essential to be considered for this position.
