Job Description

A prosperous business based in Leicester is looking to recruit a Bookkeeper to join the business. Reporting directly into the MD you will be responsible for the accounts function and management reporting. Including fixed assets, management accounts, payroll and transactional accounting.

Applicants must have previous experience of processing payroll including subcontractor payments and have previous experience of working at a similar level ideally within the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Sub-contractor payroll
  • Profit and loss
  • Balance sheet reconciliation
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Journals
  • Fixed assets
  • Processing sales and purchase invoices
  • Allocating and processing payments
  • Collection of outstanding debt
  • Management reporting
  • Sage 50

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a growing business that is going from strength to strength with a friendly and supportive working environment. This position is a full-time position working 37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday paying £30,000 - £38,000.
