Job Description

Payroll Administrator Responsibilities:

  • All aspects of Payroll Administration across a region covering both weekly and monthly payroll cycles
  • Liaising with various stakeholders across the UK you will collate and process all required payroll data accurately and within agreed timescales
  • Provide an expert point of contact for employees and resolve/investigate any payroll queries efficiently
  • Ensure all statutory payments are calculated and processed correctly including SSP, SMP, SPP, NI, PAYE etc
  • Process and calculate various pay rates, shift allowances, bonuses and any required deductions
  • Pension administration
  • Starters and Leavers
  • Processing P60's, P45's and supporting with the year end process

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Previous payroll experience in a fast paced environment. Excellent attention to detail. Previous experience with meeting multiple deadlines. Excellent communication skills. The initiative to work on your own or as a part of the wider team. A comprehensive knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
