We are currently working with a well-known, national business located in the LS11 areas of Leeds who are urgently seeking a member of staff to come in and cover a period of maternity leave.
Duties will include:
Making the monthly payments on time to employees, PAYE & NI, AOE, and pensions
Setting up new members of staff and processing leavers on Sage 50
Identifies, investigates, and resolves discrepancies in clock ins and payroll records
Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data
Process 4 payrolls circa 150 employees
Preparation and submission of monthly reports (EC Sales, CIS, Intrastate)
Preparation of consolidated customer invoices and intercompany recharge invoices
Management and reconciliation of petty cash
Maintenance of fixed asset register
Ad hoc duties inch: ordering stationery, collecting petty cash and foreign currency from the bank
Initial training will be on site then the role will be split between home and office working on a rota system to ensure safe workspace in line with COVID guidance.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Previous experience of both Payroll and Accounts is essential, as is experience with Sage Payroll. The successful candidate will have good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the ability to work to targets and deadlines.
