Job Description

An exceptional new opportunity has arisen for an accounts assistant to join a leading construction company based in Wakefield. They are exceptional at offering a range of services including construction, civil engineering and property that pride themselves on delivering on time and on budget. They are continuing to grow rapidly so you will be joining at exciting times working with a business that focuses on client delivery that offer a competitive and an effect service.
Accountabilities:
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance you as the accounts assistant will provide a variety of finance activities including the maintenance of sales and purchase ledgers, nominal ledger, monthly bank reconciliations, petty cash reconciliations, weekly and monthly payroll along with weekly reporting on cash files. This would suit an individual who is looking to develop their career further as this role will grow and develop due to year on year growth.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ideally AAT qualified you will have a proven track record of working within a busy finance department, use to working as part of a team and possess excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels. Strong IT skills including excel is essential and previous construction experience would be advantageous. You will have the ability to demonstrate hands on approach and who wants to be part of and instrumental to the growth of the business.
