Job Description

Due to expansion, Paramount Retail Group have a great opportunity for a Purchase ledger clerk to join their group of companies at their Head Office in Sheffield.

We are looking for someone ambitious who will add value to the team. There is also an opportunity to develop in the team. Main duties involved are:

  • Processing high level of invoices for stock and overheads
  • Matching GRNs to invoices
  • Investigating and resolving supplier queries
  • Regular supplier reconciliations
  • Assisting with weekly payment run
  • Assist with Management reports
  • Raising Chargeback debit notes

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The ideal candidate must have at least 12 month experience in a similar role. Sage experience – we use Sage 200, but experience of any sage is essential. Computer literate – knowledge and experience of word, excel and outlook. Good time keeping – working to deadlines and prioritizing. Flexible with roles and also may be required to travel to individual companies. Team player – working as a team and independently. Experience: Purchase ledger: 1 year (Required) Education: A-Level or equivalent (Preferred)
