This role will be busy and varied, and suit someone who is enthusiastic and has a hands-on approach. Key responsibilities are Bookkeeping and bank reconciliations, Production of Monthly accounts using Xero and being responsible for the preparation of weekly budgets, forecasts and maintaining a fully reconciled balance sheet.

Production of Monthly Accounts on Xero
Maintaining a fully reconciled Balance Sheet
Preparation of weekly Budgets and Forecasts
Production, online submission and payment of quarterly VAT returns
Processing of orders and invoices
Payment of monthly payroll and other statutory payments by BACS
Entry of all Supplier invoices into the Company accounting system
Monthly statements printed and sent to customers
Stock management
Develop, maintain and keep up to date the company filing system
Processing of Purchase Orders and manage goods-in through management system
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
AAT Qualified Bookkeeping experience within an SME Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Experienced user of Xero accounting software Highly computer literate, particularly in Apple Mac (Numbers, Pages and Keynote) and Microsoft Office AAT Accounting Accounts Assistant Bookkeeping Xero
