Job Description

Working as a member of the multidisciplinary mental health team the post holder will be responsible for assisting in the provision of therapies for service users. The role is to support clinicians to treat the service users to a high a standard as possible.

The candidate will support the existing CAMHS service provision during the Covid19 critical phase through a dedicated CAMHS Mental Health (MH) Emergency Assessment Service for CAMHS Mental Health emergency assessments out of hours and a 24/7 triage service, diverting Children and Young People from A&E where possible and appropriate.

The ideal candidate will have an awareness of treatment outcomes, recovery tools, care planning, assessment of risk and have experience. Candidates will ideally have an NVQ Level 3 in care or equivalent

The role is to commence ASAP, working a flexible shift pattern across 24/7.

The hourly rate for the role is

£12 p/h Monday - Friday daytime hours
£14.50 p/h Saturdays and nights
£17 p/h Sundays
