Job Description

Credit Controller required for an exciting permanent opportunity working for an innovtive and dynamic business based in Liverpool City Centre. Reporting directly into the Credit Manager, you will be joining a team of experienced credit controllers, and will take full responsibility for your own ledger. You will be responsible for minimising aged debt, negotiating payment terms, credit checking, opening accounts, raising credit notes, reconciliations, and complex query resolution.
 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ideally, you will have a minimum of 6 months experience of working within a busy credit control team. You will be self-motivated, with the ability to work under minimal supervision, and will have exceptional excel skills. You will be confident in the use of computerised accounts systems and will be able to learn new skills quickly. Preferably, you will have a strong degree in a finance related subject (2:1 or higher) and/or will be studying towards your AAT or ICM qualification. Above all, you will show a positive attitude and a genuine desire to progress.
