We are recruiting for a Finance Assistant to support our Finance Team at our Head Office. This role is a new role due to expansion and would be great for someone starting out in their career and wanting to progress. There will be the opportunity to complete their AAT if required.

Main Duties

  • Processing of purchase invoices
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Supplier payment allocations
  • Assist in production of weekly payment runs
  • Deal with any supplier enquiries
  • Distributing invoices for authorization
  • Meter reading analysis
  • Deal with any customer enquiries and take payments
  • Sales Ledger / Credit Control duties when required
  • Support petty cash / credit card procedures when required
  • Banking duties when required
  • Support the month end close down process as required
  • Support any audit requirements as required
  • Assist with filing and post and forwarding any queries on to the relevant member of the team or group
  • Any ad hoc duties as required by Financial Controller

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Positive mindset. Strong organizational skills. Enjoy being part of a team. Effective communicator. Prioritization and manage own workload. Experience of Microsoft Office. Experience within Finance department preferable. Experience of using Sage 200 desirable not essential.
