Job Description

You will be involved in daily cleaning (and deep cleaning duties when required), maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness in communal areas and residents’ rooms in the care home.

In the Laundry, you will ensure that the laundering of household linen, clothing, uniforms and other items are cleaned to a high standard using the washing and drying machines; you will also sort and deliver clothing back to residents rooms.  We’ll provide all the equipment and training you need to maintain health and safety standards.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Previous experience is helpful but isn’t necessary. If you have work experience within housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, domestic duties, whether in care, hospitality or other industry sector this will be an advantage. Ideally you will have some transferable skills working with customers to high standards.
