Job Description

You will be taking ownership for the accounts receivable and credit control function within the business. Our client is seeking an experienced Credit Controller who will form part of the senior leadership team. The successful Credit Controller will have report directly into the Finance Manager and be responsible for the Credit Control function for the business.
To be considered for this position you must be immediately available & have Credit Control experience.
Main Responsibilities
- Proactively chase all debt owing to the company
- Protect the company at all times against credit risk
- Deal with customer queries, seek appropriate solutions
- Liaise with internal departments to resolve issues preventing payment
- Sales Ledger - Raising invoices
- Reconcile all customer accounts and send out weekly statements Issue statements to customers as required
- Assist the Junior Finance Assistant.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience - Managing/mentoring/Senior experience would be advantageous to assist with the junior members in the department. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team - Excellent organisation, accuracy and time management skills
