Job Description

My client are a well-known progressive global PLC, which is constantly being innovative and keeping one step ahead of the competition. They are recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to be based within their finance team. These roles sit in the centralised accountancy function and report directly to senior management so communication skills are key.

Key responsibilities include:-

• Managing and controlling data, invoicing and debt for a portfolio of customer accounts.
• Liaise with operations, new customers and the administration around new contracts and ensure the ongoing accuracy of invoices.
• Communicate directly with customers via telephone, email and post to ensure that they pay within agreed contractual credit terms.
• Manage invoice disputes and raise credit memos.
• Recommend appropriate customer credit limits and review regularly.
• Support the Management Accountants in their role to accurately report portfolio, management accounts and forecasts, including updating on aged debtors and any risks this may present.
