Junior Mechanical Engineer Position Overview

• Developing products in line with customer specifications using CAD Design in preparation for manufacture
• Working closely with the engineering team to ensure design and production are running smoothly.
• Work closely with the research and development team to create design prototypes, through technical drawings and CAD design
• Observe and learn from senior engineers within the company and their specific manufacturing methods and designs

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

A degree qualification in a mechanical engineering field of study is essential Proficient with Solidworks or similar CAD Design packages A year or two in the manufacturing industry is desirable but is not essential Based in a commutable distance of Wigan Full UK Driving License is preferred
