Key Duties, Management Accountant, Sutton Coldfield

• Produce cost analysis of the business, reviewing and (where appropriate) updating cost standards on a periodic basis.
• Prepare & support the commercial organisation with profit margin analysis.
• Work with colleagues to develop "variance to standard" reporting.
• Work with the Group Financial Controller to deliver appropriate monthly & annual reporting of the organisation.
• Work with divisional Management Accountant to review and, if necessary, amend the overhead recovery rates to establish a fair allocation between divisions, thus improving comparability
• Ensure that inventory is appropriately controlled & valued, coordinating with Management Accountant as necessary.
• Work with the commercial organisation & other colleagues to ensure stock are properly managed.
