Job Description

Our client is ideally looking for an Architectural Technician / Technologist with around 3 years post qualification experience within a professional role. This client with provide the opportunity for the Architectural Technician / Technologist to develop their career within the practice so they are seeking a candidate with these future ambitions. This architectural practice specialise within the high-end residential sector so they are looking for an Architectural Technician / Technologist that has experience within this sector. The successful Architectural Technician / Technologist will expected to produce and prepare bespoke / tailored design solutions.

The successful Architectural Technician / Technologist will have several responsibilities including liaising with construction professionals, supervising construction of buildings to ensure projects meet deadlines, analysing and present design proposals, specifications and detailed drawings of projects, visiting proposed locations and building sites and prepare planning applications. Experience detailing high-end joinery as well as contract administration / site experience is highly advantageous.

This practice predominantly uses ArchiCAD on a daily basis so a good working knowledge is highly beneficial however, training is provided.

  • Work on a range of residential, hospitality and commercial developments

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Relevant Degree Qualified; 3 Years Post Qualification Experience Based in or around the Winchester area Excellent knowledge of ArchiCAD Ability to prepare bespoke / tailored design solutions Experience within high-end Residential developments Highly motivated with an excellent work ethic On site / Contract Administration experience
