The client offer specialist service in all modes of transport and have connections in near every industry in terms of transportation and distribution of goods UK and Internationally. Internal Sales Executive / Freight Forwarder Position Overview.

·  Arrange bookings & maximise profit margins.

·  Follow bookings through and check bookings have sailed. Keep clients well updated of any changes.

·  Chase & print off pre-alerts for files as they sail.

·  Print off rates for files for relevant invoicing.

·  Keep up to date with Shipping Line Rates.

·  Quote current clients Import / Export, Cross Trade, (Air and Road where necessary) as well as prospective clients.

·  Adhoc Quotations for Overseas Agents.

·  Follow up on all quotations and push to win business.

·  Establish good working relationships with all clients.

·  Support the Field Sales Team with quotations and Customer Liaison when and where required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

·  Have knowledge of Freight, Import & Export Experience ·  Experience in Internal sales and customer service roles ·  Experience in dealing with forwarders, shipping companies. ·  Excellent organisation skills ·  Excellent and clear communication skills ·  Strong Ability to Multi Task, prioritise work load and execute.
