Job Description

Due to continued growth this varied role as Management Accountant will contribute to the successful running of the business. Reporting directly to the Finance Director in a highly varied role you shall oversee both the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as well as being responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts. You shall take responsibility for balance sheet and bank reconciliations, calculating accruals and prepayments and provide variance analysis to be reported to the senior management team. You shall prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns and assist the Finance Director with preparation of the year end accounts. As Management Accountant you shall manage budgets, forecasts and cash-flow projections and seek to implement improvement processes to deliver effective and robust financial controls.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Qualified CIMA, ACA or ACCA you shall be a confident Management Accountant with a minimum of three years' experience in a similar role. You shall also have proven experience in a Management Accounting role within the construction sector and be technically strong with the ability to add value, providing detailed analysis and commercial financial reporting.
