Job Description

It would be advantageous for the successful Architect to have some knowledge of Revit, as the successful candidate will be using this software on a day to day basis. There is a variety of exciting projects in the pipeline, as our client has a strong core value for keeping up existing relationships with their stakeholders. Our client has some exciting projects on offer and predominantly work on conservational and historical buildings as well as other residential projects. The ideal candidate should have some exposure to similar projects and be an ARB qualified Architect for a minimum of 1 years. The most suitable candidate should also be able to working alongside both internal & external stakeholders in order to make sure that projects are being completed on time, within budget and to an excellent standard. Our client are also seeking soemone with excelent knowledge of building regulations and good knowledge of building applications.

Architect Position Overview

• Discuss the ideas, objectives, requirements and budget of a project and in some cases help to select a site
• Work on a variety of conservational, historical and residential building projects
• Assess the needs of the building and its users, advising the client on the practicality of their project
• Work in a team as well as individually at times

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of Revit software highly advantageous 1 years' UK experience as an Architect working on conservational and or residential projects Live in or around the Taunton area High technical standard Highly motivated & excellent work ethic
