The successful candidate will have previous experience in financial planning, budgets performance analyzing & reporting and forecasting. You must be a qualified accountant. This a new role with a broad remit, it would suit the intellectually curious, highly analytical creatively minded individual who is looking for a role to make their own.
Reporting to the Head of Finance responsibilities will include:
Designing financial models and structuring data to facilitate easy analysis and scenario planning in the future
Building and designing financial forecasting models
Utilizing technology, systems, processes to help the organization become more efficient
Use of best practice techniques to be ensuring accurate and robust financial forecasts
Comfortable creating and explaining analysis for the Board, Regulators, Investors and other stakeholders
Improving processes to be more robust and accurate
Assist with departmental budgets
Assist with regulatory reporting
Highlight to the business any risk exposure for operational areas / projects
Analyze financial data to highlight key variances and trends ensuring these are fully documented, enabling effective mitigation actions to be identified
Validating accuracy of financial data
Preparation of ad-hoc management information and analysis

This is a key role within the business and you will have had previous experience working in a a business agile team. You will be able to priorities workloads and have an ability to work both alone and as part of a team, developing and maintaining operational relationships and being commercially aware at all times. You will be a qualified accountant with experience in a similar role and the ability to think on your feet and ‘fail fast’. The client is looking for someone that can grow with the role and looking to be stretched within the role.
