We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join us at our Leeds Office and become part of an ambitious team of accounting technical specialists.

The successful candidate will have the responsibility of managing a portfolio of accounting clients, primarily within the Medical sector, so previous experience in working with clients from this sector is essential. The client portfolio will include a mixture of basic, large and complex assignments therefore the ability to priorities workload whilst ensuring all clients continue an exemplary service is paramount.

The main elements of this role will include:

• Taking full ownership of your own client portfolio predominately made up of sole traders and partnerships with some limited companies (FRS105 and FRS102 1A).
• Managing the workflow and staff development linked to this portfolio.
• Developing the Accounting portfolio and expanding this area of our business.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

CCAB Qualified (ICAEW, ACCA, CIPFA, ICAS & Chartered Accountants Ireland). Experienced in processing Partnership Accounts (for medical and / or dental clients). Familiar with VAT Partial Exemption. Experienced in Superannuation Certificate Preparation – Type 1 & Type 2 Knowledgeable of tax in respect of Corporate and Business tax alongside Personal tax. Aware of the relevant Accounting Standards and ensure you can comply with their instruction at all times. A determined and motivated individual striving to provide an efficient service to all clients.
