Job Description

The suitable Estimator will have previous experience working within a specialist sub-contractor, ideally with products such as, glazing, architectural glass, windows, doors or curtain walling, however would consider other construction products.

Estimator Position Overview

• Reviewing tender documentation & printing details/specifications/drawings
• Generating Tender Queries
• Liaising with manufacturers and suppliers to obtain project costings
• Liaising with Contractors/Architects
• Liaising with other team members where required
• Generating Project Specific Quotations using Word
• Updating in-house CRM system and Estimating Logs;

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Computer literate: Excel, Word, PDF, Outlook Good communication skills Estimating experience, ideally within a sub-contractor Knowledge of construction products such as, glass, glazing, partitioning, steelwork, doors, acoustics, fire performances etc. would be ideal.
