Job Description

The Group Accountant position is an important role within the team, with key involvement on financial reporting and for ensuring accounting implications are considered in all commercial, operational and strategic decisions.

Duties will include;

• Consolidation of Group entities
• Preparation of the monthly Group Management Accounts under IFRS and US GAAP
• Managing the month-end closing processes for the group accounts
• Preparation of the budgeting and forecasting processes
• Preparation of the annual Statutory Accounts for the Group under IFRS
• Liaising with the external auditors
• Identify and propose improvements and efficiencies in existing processes

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent) with strong technical financial accounting skills. Ideal opportunity for a first/second Industry move from Practice. Forward thinking with an analytical approach. Ability to communicate effectively and partner with senior management and non-finance staff.
