Job Description

The role will be varied and the successful individual will be responsible for reviewing audit work, the completion of audit assignments to the relevant standards, the preparation of financial statements and leading teams of junior staff.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Act as an advisor to owner managed businesses
  • Leading of audit assignments (from planning through to conclusion) for significant audit engagements
  • Preparation and review of statutory accounts for a range of client types and sizes
  • Preparation of business/corporate taxation computations and returns
  • Supervision of staff and client management
  • Review work prepared, ensuring quality in compliance with professional standards/requirements
  • Monitor budget, WIP and billings
  • Reporting to the managers/partners
  • Dealing with client queries

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The ideal candidate will be ACA / ACCA Qualified with strong practice experience including experience of leading Audit assignments on a variety of clients and have a good working knowledge of reporting standards ACA or ACCA Qualified. Experience of leading audits from planning to completion. Practice experience is essential.
