Job Description

There is a great new opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join our team. The role would suit candidates with a background in finance who demonstrate excellent attention to detail and the ability to work within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Daily duties will consist of, but are not limited to:

· Producing client reconciliation statements

· Applying and reconciling customer payments to internal systems

· Application of external financial files

· Production of daily financial files

· Issuing refunds

· Dealing with customer chargebacks

· Resolving client queries

· Monitoring Finance mailbox

· Managing accounts receivable and payable including preparation and processing of supplier payment runs

· Any other duties as directed by the finance manager and finance director

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Minimum 1 year work experience as a Finance Administrator, Finance Assistant or similar role. · Excellent IT skills, with good background and knowledge of MS Office. · Attention to detail and accuracy in their work. · Be comfortable in working as part of a team and independently. · Fast learner and able to continue working under pressure. · Have excellent communication and organizational skills. · Experience of using financial systems such as Xero, Sage and ReceiptBank.
