Job Description

The role will involve support for a high level of purchase transactions along with productions of reports and analysis in respect of a number of key overhead cost headings.

The Group has a strict structure of monthly and quarterly reporting and the applicants need to be used to producing work of a high standard to tight deadlines in a continuously evolving business.

The role will involve the following:

  • Maintenance of the Purchase Ledger, including Statement review/reconciliation and posting of c 500-600 invoices per month
  • Bank reconciliations (to include challenging & resolving discrepancies)
  • Credit card scheme administration
  • Supply Chain Finance scheme administration
  • Sales invoicing and Credit control
  • Process journals via upload and other inputs onto the general ledger
  • Involvement in Year End processes and production of audit schedules
  • Other ad-hoc support to wider Finance team

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Enthusiastic individual that is keen to learn, get involved and develop. AAT – or similar (study support will be considered). Team player, who is keen to build relationships with colleagues both above and below them in the finance and operational team. Excel proficiency to a high standard. Ability to compile, analyze and review data to a high level of accuracy. Good communication skills, both written and verbally.
