Job Description
The role will involve support for a high level of purchase transactions along with productions of reports and analysis in respect of a number of key overhead cost headings.
The Group has a strict structure of monthly and quarterly reporting and the applicants need to be used to producing work of a high standard to tight deadlines in a continuously evolving business.
The role will involve the following:
Maintenance of the Purchase Ledger, including Statement review/reconciliation and posting of c 500-600 invoices per month
Bank reconciliations (to include challenging & resolving discrepancies)
Credit card scheme administration
Supply Chain Finance scheme administration
Sales invoicing and Credit control
Process journals via upload and other inputs onto the general ledger
Involvement in Year End processes and production of audit schedules
Other ad-hoc support to wider Finance team
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Enthusiastic individual that is keen to learn, get involved and develop. AAT – or similar (study support will be considered). Team player, who is keen to build relationships with colleagues both above and below them in the finance and operational team. Excel proficiency to a high standard. Ability to compile, analyze and review data to a high level of accuracy. Good communication skills, both written and verbally.
