Job Description

• Preparing quarterly forecasts, budgets and performance reporting
• Managing site capital investment process, controlling and forecasting the cost base
• Understanding, controlling and forecasting site cost base, supporting with overheads
• Overheads performance analysis and period end reporting
• Ensuring robust financial control through maintenance of asset register, asset verification and balance sheet reconciliation review
• Working closely with cost Centre managers, increasing their financial awareness
• Working closely with numerous internal stakeholders at Halifax and other UK offices
• Working closely with the Finance Manager with statutory and group accounting duties
• Supporting wider UK finance teams on exciting projects

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

ACCA/CIMA part qualified and keen to continue with studies. Experience in FMCG/food manufacturing is essential. Experience of costing is highly desirable. Previous ERP system knowledge would be highly desirable. Strong analytical skills to provide insightful financial analysis and forecasting.
