You will be working within a team of accountant professionals providing first class customer service to a growing portfolio of clients. The duties & responsibilities you will undertake are:
Day to day servicing of a portfolio of SME businesses and their owners
Accounts Preparation
Production of monthly management accounts
Business Tax computations
Vat Returns and MTD
Payroll and bookkeeping when required
Providing assistance to clients with cloud accounting
Other ad-hoc projects and support for the Manager and Directors

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You will ideally have the following skills and qualifications: Accountancy experience of working in a busy Practice environment. Commitment to delivering outstanding client service. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with an unwavering attention to detail. A positive, supportive attitude. The ability to work as part of a team. Good technical knowledge. Working knowledge of IRIS practice software. Working knowledge of the major bookkeeping packages including Sage 50, Sage One, Xero & QuickBooks. Excellent IT skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Driving license and the ability to travel to other offices and client premises. Experience: accountancy: 3 years (Required) Education: A-Level or equivalent (Required)
