Job Description

Installation Design Engineers / Technical Writers required to join a flagship project in the Nuclear Industry. You will be able to demonstrate your experience of producing detailed install diagrams and ideally related to telecoms and peripheral equipment.

Typical Deliverables

• Pepare and maintain detailed Installation Guides:

• Principles of implementation

• Rounting configuration principles

• Block diagrams of systems

• Detailed wiring diagrams

• Equipment Lists – including physical specifications, restrictions and thresholds

• Work closely with Technical Design Engineers to resolve design details or discrepancies.

• Prepare Installation Guides of unusual, complex or original designs with a high degree of precision considering the environment, tooling, H&S, quality controls, auditing procedures and skill requirements.

• Provide support for CAD engineers to ensure 2D and 3D designs are accurate and achievable.

• Provide CAD engineers with accurate dimensions of telecommunications equipment and the installation environment.

• Develop and maintain draft standards and procedures.

• Evaluate and recommend suitable computer hardware and software which will allow efficiencies in the design process.

• Production of Rack Face Layouts

• Production of Cable Run Out Lists (CROLs)

• Production of detailed Site Survey reports
