Payroll Officer
Full-time, Permanent - Temporarily remote
Job Description
Reporting to the UK Compensation and Benefits Manager and working in a small UK-based team, the Payroll Officer will be responsible for both manufacturing and staff payrolls. The role includes end-to-end processing, time and attendance, reconciliations and reporting. The role also supports various areas of compensation & benefits.
Responsibilities include:
Processing all UK payrolls.
Liaising with Team Leaders and Managers regarding queries, requests and deadlines.
Managing ad hoc enquiries from managers and employees.
Maintenance and administration of Time and Attendance System including shift patterns, structures, access rights and generation of photo ID cards.
Provision of financial information and reconciliation of payroll related control accounts.
Completion and publication of weekly and monthly reports to all aspects of the business, including absence, production hours, overtime & hours worked, costs.
Supporting the UK Compensation & Benefits Manager.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The successful candidate will have previous payroll experience, excellent communication skills, and strong excel knowledge are extremely desirable. The role is based in Featherstone, West Yorkshire, although, due to the Covid pandemic, it will be home-based for the foreseeable future. Full- or part-time candidates will be considered.
